I had thought that once you purchased this program under one Gmail address, you could add multiple Google Drive accounts to Syncdocs. I have 3 Google Drive accounts that I purchased this specifically to use with. I can add 2 of my accounts and they sync at the same time, but the third one keeps asking me to register. Any hints on this are more than welcome. Thanks.

I have about 750GB files on my computer that I synced last year to my google drive account using syncdocs. I had been using the 64-bit version but started getting errors about it "being too old" so I clicked the button to upgrade, but it never would.

So I downloaded the latest 64-bit version and installed it. Now when syncdocs tries to sync, it says that I have to re-upload my 750GB files again. Since that took me 6 months to do, I am unwilling to do that again. It would also run me out of my 1TB space.

Why is it trying to re-upload the files that are already there?

We have 5 users that sync to their google docs account for google apps for work. I am having issues.

One user created and shared all the files (120,000 at 75 GB) and I had each user add the share to their drive. On the web interface it works great. But when I try to sync on each computer for each user (i bought a license per user), I am constantly getting an error:

This is annoying because it takes 10 minutes just to check the 120,000 files all over again before trying to initiate the download. It is crazy because it simply wont sync no matter what i do. waited all day and sometimes it makes it to syncing some files and sometimes it doesn's and has to restart. Am I to expect this same problem every single time I try to sync the files? What about encrypting the whole drive and giving unrestricted access to all the users in the group? Is that going to be a problem once I finally sync the drive?

Just want to make sure I am not going through this entire weekend of setup only to find out the service is not suitable for my needs. Hope for a speedy response.

SyncDocs Free version tells me that I have exceed the number of files being synched. I understand that the quota is 10,000 files (really nice, thanks!). I am doing UPLOAD ONLY. I checked and the local folder has only 5,828 files in it. I am thus confused -- would you please be so kind as to explain how is the quota calculated?

I'm trying to delete a couple of folders. Eeach time I delete them locally, I see in the status window, that "deletions are mirrored". Just after that's done, Syncdocs re-downloads these folders, and they are back again. Tried it a couple of times, always same result - I can't get rid of those folders.

Reports of problems or bugs in Syncdocs are most useful to us.

We test on a many user account/machine/file system/setting combinations here before any release, but we can't test every permutation.

Dear friends, need some help with syncing scenario. I work with Windows Mail (not Live) on both my PC and laptop. I have changed location of my Contacts folder to Google Drive on both computers, so that it can now monitor changes left to right and vice versa. On main PC, I uploaded Windows Mail "Local Folders" to Google Drive and now it is uploading all my mail.
What would be the best scenario to have the same emails on Laptop? Because what I understand, if I upload "Local Folders" leaft and right to Google Drive I will end up in a mess because it will duplicate everything?
How to tell "Local Folders" on Google Drive (which are synced with main PC) to sync all changes to "Local Folders" on laptop?

I searched the forums here but found nothing on my problem from recently. (The question was posed 5 years ago before the "one way" features were added. So...

I just downloaded the trial version of Syncdocs as my company is wanting to experiment with doing back ups to Google Drive. We only want to back up though. We don't want what's on the google drive (online) being downloaded to our server. I googled for a solution and found Syncdocs. It says we can do this but I gotta tell ya, I can't figure out how. I went through the instructions here on the website (Preferences, Sync Tab, check only "Upload Files to Google") but still If I create a file on the online side of Google Drive, sure enough, the file appears on my PC. What am I missing? Does the trial version not do this?

I am using Syncdocs to securely share files between two computers. I have noticed, however, that several files are missing from the second computer. I have made multiple attempts to download them including: Uninstalling and re-installing Syncdocs, Clearing my Syncdocs Cache, and deleting the files from the shared folder on both computers and Google Drive and then sharing the files again.

When I attempt to download them on the second computer, I get the following error:

Hi having a few problems with SyncDocs 6.612 when I re-organise google docs on the local drive.
When I move a google doc (all convsions disabled) from one folder to another syncdocs will delete the google doc from drive and it will not appear in the new folder, it just ends up in the trash.

E.g.
Move \test.gdoc to \folderA\test.gdoc on my local computer
Run Sync
Syncdocs will remove \test.gdoc from \ on web view of drive but it does not appear in \folderA
it is now in the trash
However locally the file \folderA\test.gdoc is still there apparently ignored by sync docs

Any way to prevent this?

I moved my Google Docs folder on to a bigger drive, I also added my Google Photos to Drive so I can back them up too. (69GB)

The initial sync went well but many folders throughout are missing, it seems to get stuck on the following errors: (I have removed full paths) Im guessing I have hit the download limit for certain files. Unfortunately it stops downloading and I cant get any of the missing files and it says Sync OK. Not very helpful!!

How long until the limited is lifted?

It seems like it have been a couple of weeks and I am in a bit of a limbo, not knowing where I can store files........

I purchased your application and I would like to simply back up the "Documents" folder to 5 Windows 7 PC's. How is this possible if they all have the same folder name? I do not want to sync the contents of the Documents folders. Thanks.

I searched but I couldn't find anything for my problem. I unchecked "Sync new files and folders shared to me by others" but still syncdocs creates new folders when I created from my any other computers. I removed syncdocs to start with default options-could be easier- and then I re-setup again but it remembers all details. It doesn't effect any changes on selective folders. How can I fix the problem?

This become a disturbing problem because each time it try to transfer few GigaByte files.(I upload my archieve to cloud and cleaning to local storages) because of that PC storage and internet connection badly effecting. and causes syncing all files takes very long time. Thus, I want to keep limited and specific files. PS: I don't have admin rights. It is uni. PC

To run Syncdocs as Admin at Startup:
1. Uncheck the option in Syncdocs Preferences Menu to run at Startup
2. In the Windows Start Menu, open the Syncdocs Program Group.
3. Right click on the item "Always run Syncdocs as Admin" and select "Copy"
4. Paste this item into the Windows Start Menu "Startup" group.

Note that if your administrative username is not "Administrator" you will need to edit the file "Always run Syncdocs as Admin" in a text editor and put in your Windows Administrator username.
